This coolant temperature sensor for gauge fits 1986-87 2WD Vanagon with the plastic lower thermostat housing. It is the early style sensor with the large male pins and round plug body. Includes O-Ring.
Fit: Take a close look at your original sensor to ensure it looks just like this. If it does not, you might need the later style sensor that has the smaller male pins & square plug ().
