This tool makes removing and installing lower ball joints simple and efficient. We designed it for use with both and lower ball joints, and it works on all Bus and Vanagon models including Syncro.
Pro tip: You'll need a C-clamp press to operate it (not included), but it's a practical and affordable alternative to the original VW press tool.

1. Be sure to lubricate the threads of the clamp and the serrations of the ball joint before installation.
2. We recommend using hand tools not power tools for this installation.
